For Book Coaches

Q - Who do you work with?

I work with writing coaches and other professionals in the book industry such as book store owners, directors of writing centres, book marketers, etc. Feel free to contact me if you don’t find yourself on this list, but think we could be a fit.

Q - I want to become a writing coach. Can you help?

This is not something I offer. Please refer to relevant editorial trainings.

Q - What is a writing coach?

A book coach helps a writer in the book development process. They are also called developmental editors, author coaches, book sherpas or doulas. Some have a generalist approach and will work both with fiction and non-fiction writers. Others focus on a specific genre such as literary fiction, memoir, Christian literature, business books, etc.
